What is Rose Hip Seed Oil?
Anyone who has grown roses has noticed the red "hips" that remain on the
plant after the flower has gone. Simplers rose hip seed oil is cold-pressed
from the hips of a wild rose found in the Andes mountains. The hips are
extremely high in essential fatty acids and vitamin C and are also used to
make syrup, tea, jam, and wine.
Ideal for sun-damaged skin, rose hip seed oil helps aid tissue regeneration.
It is recommended for wrinkles, premature aging, dehydrated skin, stretch
marks, skin discoloration, eczema, and psoriasis. It can be applied to the
skin directly, or used as a "carrier" oil - adding small amounts of
essential oils to it. It combines well with Calendula Infused Oil or Argan Oil.
Rosehip seed oil is the number one oil to prevent scarring. Even hardened
and aged scars can see improvement with daily use over a period of at least
3 months. Try it pre-blended in Simplers Scar & Burn Oil.
Simplers rose hip seed oil is organic, contains no preservatives, and should
be kept refrigerated and used within 6 months.
